First regenerative kelp harvest in central Chile

More than 3 tonnes from 0.6 hectares in Algarrobo, over a 4.5-month cycle, working with four fishers from the local union.

    A Macrocystis pyrifera hatchery in six months, with Hortimare

    Between February and April 2024 we set up the hatchery and nursery, with capacity for 10 km of line seeded with sporophytes.

    Six years of R&D to build and scale Macrocystis pyrifera farming capabilities, with Hortimare and Macro Oceans as co-implementers.
